Garden update

It has been an… interesting week! C and E are both sick today so that just caps it off. E. got into the basil today – and managed to pick off 7 or so leaves before I thought she was being too quiet – you might let sleeping babes lie, but when they’re quiet go check on them!

Our container garden is pretty much in, we have 2 more containers to stagger with salad greens, and C is still bringing home containers for us to figure out how to use. But we have everything in now that was planned. Here are some pictures.

This is the whole “garden”. In total: 4 tomato plants, 2 salad green containers, 1 cilantro, 1 thyme, 1 basis, 1 rosemary, 1 hot pepper (2 plants in 1 pot), 1 sweet pepper (same as hot pepper), 1 container of radishes, 1 container of carrots. We’re still acquiring containers, so I don’t know if that will be all. We’ll see. We have many more seeds – the seeds were free, so I don’t a reason not to plant them.

Our first tomato bloom. How exciting!

This shows part of the view from the driveway. You can see the pots on our stairs and the tomato side of the porch.

Jalapenos, radishes, carrots, Sweet Peppers.
